Clap Boards and Applause Signs

Rendering elevations by applying shingle siding texture is useful, if only to begin to get a palpable sense of the thing. But in reality, the appeal of white clapboarding was too strong, and these elevations reflect this preference. This morning Ed suggested looking at a Canadian company's triple-glazed fiberglass frame windows, and lo, and behold, they're precisely what I'm looking for. The newest elevations reflect the company's fixed and awning series of windows. Unfortunately the moiré pattern of parallel lines is somewhat distracting.

It's lots of fun watching this come together.... and I also like clapboard.
