My Eco-Friendly Kitchen

My eco-friendly kitchen, my green kitchen, my environmentally responsible kitchen is gone! If I'd sincerely wanted an eco-friendly,  green, environmentally responsible kitchen, I'd have simply kept the kitchen Mildred Morganstern built in 1950. This whole retrofitting for the environment is turning into a commercial bonanza of smug consumerism, yet another cottage industry of buying new stuff. That said, I cannot possibly make claims that any of the kitchen posts below is remotely green, energy stars and forestry certifications notwithstanding. So, want to be green? Easy: learn to be happy with what you already have. As I've often asked clients, "Do you think the food is going to taste better in a new kitchen?"
