Some progress on the design front, if one can tolerate indecision regarding the house's having either one or two stories and whether or not the scheme is based around the idea of a free-standing object or a courtyard. But in the realm of place naming we're doing somewhat better. It's down to either Deux Champs or Entre les Champs, recognizing the two fields at different elevations that constitute the property. By clicking on the links you'll hear the official West County pronunciation of either name.

[Since the above was first posted the name has evolved to Champs Marches, and may be even further transmogrified into Italian. This is not nomenclature, this is daydreaming.]
